So far, I think the maker space has been a success. Students seem extremely engaged and the speed of their understanding of the building process has been fantastic. I don't quite know exactly what I was expecting, but it wasn't anything of this caliber.
I hope you guys are enjoying the work that we are doing in this school. I know that some days can drag on, but please realize that there is a reason we do everything the way that we do. It will all make sense when you design and build something meaningful.
The blogs seem to be working, though some of the tech limitations have been overwhelming. Lord knows I'm tired of bypassing the security measures. I'm proud of the progress that my students have made in such a short amount of time. By the end of the school year, we will truly have a smooth-running, paper-free English classroom.
No homework for the weekend, except for keeping your blog updated. Feel free to add some of your classmates and interact with each other.
